Joël has over 25 years of actuarial consulting experience, advising leading Dutch insurers on complex valuation and capital management challenges. Joël specializes in property & casualty and disability insurance, with additional experience in life and health insurance. Joël provides a wide range of consulting services, including risk capital modeling, reserving analyses, fulfillment of the actuarial function, and reviews of pricing, reserving, and risk capital processes. Joël has extensive knowledge of the Solvency II framework (including internal model development, internal model validation and ORSA) and IFRS 17.
