Experience
Prior to joining the MicroInsurance Centre at Milliman, Mebrahtu worked for the United Nations World Food Programme as a Monitoring and Evaluation focal person for the Resilience and Livelihood Programme of WFP Tigray Area Office, Ethiopia. Mebrahtu also worked as a senior researcher and lecturer of Environmental, Resource, and Development Economics for about 10 years at Mekelle University, one of the top universities in Ethiopia. Mebrahtu has a strong background in Economics and Agriculture.
